Marks of Reflection. Portrait Artist of the Year Semi-finalists Exhibition + my demo at Noho Galleries!
It's a pleasure to announce an upcoming Portrait Artist of the Year Semi-finalists exhibition and my alla prima painting demonstration (generously sponsored by CassArt).
During this exhibition I’ll be showing a selection of new and familiar portraits. It will be a lovely opportunity to meet in person, talk about painting and PAOTY and also, to watch me paint (book your free ticket here).
All of my paintings featured in the exhibition will be for sale, available on my website from 15th December.

Noho Showroom, London | 16–21 December 2025 | Private View: Thursday 18 December, 6–8pm
London, UK — Marks of Reflection brings together the semi-finalists of Portrait Artist of the Year 2025 in a group exhibition at Noho Showroom, 67 Great Titchfield Street, London W1W 7PT. Running from 16 to 21 December 2025, the exhibition celebrates the depth and diversity of contemporary portraiture through the work of seven exceptional artists: Chloe Barnes, Courtney Bae, Edie Bound, Katie Jones, Lauren Ross, Paulina Kwietniewska, and Uthman Wahaab.
Each artist offers a distinct interpretation of the human presence, exploring the nuances of identity, emotion, and self-reflection. From precise realism to expressive experimentation, Marks of Reflection highlights how the genre continues to evolve while maintaining its power to reveal the essence of its subjects.
A highlight of the programme will be “A View on Portraiture”, a panel discussion with Kate Bryan (art historian, curator, and broadcaster) and Curtis Holder (Portrait Artist of the Year 2020 winner), held on Thursday 18 December, 5–6pm, immediately preceding the Private View (6–8pm). The discussion will explore the relevance and resonance of portraiture in the contemporary art landscape.
